MONDAYS at 1:30 P.M. and THURSDAYS at 10 A.M..  Stories and crafts in the Discovery Room.  For independent listeners.  Drop-in. 

NOTE: Storytimes are cancelled when the public schools are not in session.

CHESS CLUB at the Simsbury Public Library on TUESDAYS, FEBRUARY 2 and 16 from 3:30-4:45 p.m.  Learn and practice chess skills.  For new and current members in grades 2-6.  Sponsored by the Friends of the Library. 

MIND YOUR MANNERS at the Simsbury Public Library on THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 4 at 4:00 p.m.  This week’s topic is healthy manners.  A related craft is included.  Presented by Kristin Pomeroy of Giggles, LLC.  Registration required.  Call 658-7663.

TIME FOR MUSIC, a musical program for 1-4 year-olds with an adult, at the Simsbury Public Library, will be held on SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 13 from 10:30-11:00 a.m.   Sponsored by the Junior Woman's Club.

 DINOSAUR DAY at the Simsbury Public Library on SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 13 at 11:00 a.m.  Hear dinosaur stories and a have a chance to meet Danny's dinosaur from the Syd Hoff story, Danny and the Dinosaur.  All ages welcome.  Drop-in. 

PAINTING WITH LAURA at the Simsbury Public Library on TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 16 Presented by local artist Laura Perrotta.  Students will paint a 'found' object, such as a shoe or box or other object of their choice.  Students in grades K-2 will be at 10:30 a.m.   Students in Grades 3-6 will be at 1:30 p.m.  Registration required.  Call 658-7663.  Sponsored by the Friends of the Library.  Participants are asked to wear old clothes or a smock and bring an item to decorate.
