3 YEAR-OLD STORY TIME: Begins January 25

MONDAYS at 10 A.M. and THURSDAYS at 1:30 P.M. Stories and crafts in the Discovery Room. Drop-in.

 

4-KINDERGARTEN STORY TIME:  Begins January 25

MONDAYS at 1:30 P.M. and THURSDAYS at 10 A.M..  Stories and crafts in the Discovery Room.  For independent listeners.  Drop-in. 

  

NOTE: Storytimes are cancelled when the public schools are not in session.

CHESS CLUB at the Simsbury Public Library on TUESDAYS, JANUARY 5 and 19 from 3:30-4:45 p.m.  For new and current members in grades 2-6.  Drop-in.

 

NURSERY SCHOOL/DAYCARE EXPO on THURSDAY, JANUARY 7 at the Simsbury Public Library from 6:30-8 p.m.  Parents of pre-school children will have an opportunity to speak with representatives of area nursery schools and day care centers about their programs.  Refreshments.  Drop-in.  Snow Date: Jan. 11.  For more information call 658-7663. 

 

TUMBLING TWO’S  at the Simsbury Public Library on FRIDAY, JANUARY 8 at 10:30 a.m.  Gymnastics especially geared for two-year olds with an adult.  Presented by Gymnastics Training Center.  Drop-in. 

 

TIME FOR MUSIC, a musical program for 1-4 year-olds with an adult, at the Simsbury Public Library, will be held on SATURDAY, JANUARY 9 from 10:30-11 a.m. Drop-in.  Sponsored by the Junior Woman's Club.

FARMER MINOR AND DAISY II at the Simsbury Public Library on THURSDAY, JANUARY 14 at 10:00 a.m. Farmer Minor and Daisy II will conduct a story time for ages

STORY STARS at the Simsbury Public Library on TUESDAY, JANUARY 19 at 10:30 AM.  Presented by naturalist Rae Griffiths of Teaching Creatures, this program combines favorite children's books with live animals.  This month’s animal: Turtles.  Books: Turtle's Race with Beaver as retold by Joseph and James Bruchac and Turtle Splash by Cathryn Falwell.  For ages 3-Kindergarten.  Registration required
