Ongoing Children’s Programs

Join us! Programs are drop-in, unless noted.  When required, you may register for storytimes and events on the calendar of events or by calling (860) 658-7663.

Please note: Storytimes and programs are cancelled when Simsbury Public Schools are closed or delayed due to weather.

Chess & Go Club*

Drop-in to practice your chess strategy, sportsmanship & game organization or to learn the game of Go!  An understanding of how chess pieces move is required.
For grades 2-6

LEGO® Engineers**

Let your imagination run wild!  Drop-in to build & display your creation.
For grades K & up with a caregiver on Saturdays from 10:00am – 2:00pm

Music with Marie*

Drop-in to sing songs, play games & move to the beat with Marie Lim & her guitar!  For ages 1-4 with a caregiver.
Offered alternating Tuesdays and one Saturday per month at 10:30am

Sensory Sunday

Drop-in to learn & have fun through hands-on play.  Activities may include sensory boxes, finger painting, playdough & more.
For all ages with a caregiver, offered one Sunday per month

Drop-in to learn & have fun with activities related to science, technology, engineering, art and math.
For grades K-2, offered one Monday per month

Innovators’ Club**

Sign up for hands on science experiments, building and creation.  We may utilize the Innovators’ Workshop for some projects.
For grades 3-6, offered one Monday per month

Everybody Plays***

This inclusive playgroup in a sensory-friendly environment is for children of all abilities featuring sensory play, fine and gross motor activities and social skill building.
For ages birth-5 years old, offered the first Saturday & third Friday of every month at 10:30am
