  • HOW DOES IT WORK ?

IndieFlix lets you watch movies in the Internet browser of your choice.  No other software or equipment is necessary. You will be asked to create a free account with an email address and a password.  Then you will be asked for your Library card number. Remember, this will only work with Simsbury Library cards.

  • WHAT MOVIES DOES IT HAVE?

According to their FAQ page “IndieFlix curates the best from Film Festivals around the world.  Get unlimited access to Award-winning independent movies, shorts, documentaries, and web series. Discover films that launch careers, blaze new trails, and that artists make for the love of the craft.”

  • CAN USE IT ON MY COMPUTER / PHONE / DEVICE?

IndieFlix is available on all Internet-enabled computers, tablets (including iPad and Android), and smartphones through the web browser. Many films are also available on Roku and Xbox. These films are not rated by the MPAA, so viewer discretion is advised. IndieFlix requires the use of Adobe Flash.  This a free program that you probably already have on your computer.  Click here (http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/) to download the most current version.
