A NEW DAY.....A NEW WAY: A program for women in transition
Tuesday June 8
6:30 PM to 8:30 PM

PROGRAM RM

New Day

A panel of three professional women will show you how to take control of your legal, financial and home life. Attorney Laura Klein, Financial Advisor Sharon Alleman and Certified Interior Decorator Ilona House will show you how to:

  • Protect yourself legally. Are you so crazy in love that you don't need to protect yourself?
  • Expand your financial horizons. Successful women invest in themselves. Shouldn't you?
  • Rejuvenate your home with color. Could you use color to rejuvenate your home and harness your personal power?

Join us for an evening of great ideas and inspiration.

This program is co-sponsored by the Simsbury Senior Center.

For more information on the Kenya School Libraries Program or Books for Africa, see their websites: www.BooksBuildHope.organd www.BooksForAfrica.org.

In addition to the charity challenge, teens will be asked to challenge themselves through workshops and activities offered through the Library. These include Improv/Acting with Amanda Mulé; Dance with Jessica Sikora; Manga/Anime Drawing with Akina Fukawa and 4 Super Mario Bros. Smashfests with Michael Ray.  All summer program reading participants will be eligible to win two great prizes from the YMCA and vouchers for the huge Friends book sale in September.
