| Patrons with low-vision and hearing needs may request magnifying aids and use of the library's Electronic Ear aid for use in the library. Inquire at the Reference desk for assistance. | |
| Americans with Disabilities Act | |
| The Simsbury Public Library, along with the Town of Simsbury, has been working to make its building and services available to people with disabilities. Handicapped parking spaces are available at both the upper and lower level parking lots, the adult and children's rooms are easily accessible by elevator, and full bathroom facilities for men/women are located on the library's lower level. | |
| New Large Print Books | |
| The library maintains a large collection of current fiction and non-fiction materials in large print format available for patrons with low-vision needs. | |
