Simsbury Public Library

Genealogy Resources

Looking for a Simsbury Family History?

The Simsbury Public Library does not have staff to perform detailed genealogical or local history research. The library does maintain a large collection of materials suitable for researching your family history. A research aid on genealogy has been compiled for your assistance. You may download a version of the guide to Genealogy Searching.

If you are looking for detailed historical information about the Town of Simsbury, or its original settlers, our best local resources are  the Simsbury Historical Society and the Simsbury Free Library. You may access genealogical information from Ancestry.com for in-depth genealogy or the casual family history.
