Financial Donations
Your financial support helps us expand our collections, offer enriching programs, and maintain a welcoming space for all. Every gift, big or small, makes a lasting impact on our community.
Honor/Memorial Books
Celebrate a loved one or mark a special occasion with a book dedicated in their name. It’s a meaningful way to honor someone while sharing the gift of reading with others.
The price varies depending on the type of book purchased. Prices reflect the cost of purchasing and processing the item.
Volunteers
Volunteers are essential to help us serve our community. Whether helping with events or shelving materials, your time and talents help keep the library running smoothly and efficiently.
Interested in volunteering? Volunteer opportunities vary throughout the year. Please check the Town of Simsbury website to see if the library is currently accepting volunteers.
Borrower Services Volunteers
At this time the library is not accepting any volunteers
Volunteers for the Borrower Services Department typically will work 2 to 3 hour shift, 1 day a week. Responsibilities include shelving materials, pulling and shelving holds, and notifying patrons that their holds are ready for pick up. We ask volunteers to commit to at least 6 months of work at a time.Â

Teen Volunteers
At this time the library is not accepting any teen volunteers
Join the Teen Advisory Board and share your ideas about upcoming programs, materials, and general improvements to help make Simsbury Library an even better place for you and your friends. TAB also gets first pick of all volunteer opportunities. Some examples of volunteer tasks are: shelving, assisting with craft program prep/organizing, and helping out with Library events

Childrens Services Volunteers

Join the Friends
Want to support the library in another way? Consider joining the Friends of the Simsbury Public Library! The Friends is a membership organization that supports the library through fundraising and advocacy. Membership requires an annual fee, and joining is a great way to help support the library and its programs.
