Apply for a Passport
The Simsbury Public Library is a passport acceptance facility and can accept applications for new passports by appointment only. Appointments generally run 30 minutes per application. Please contact the Information Desk at 860-658-7663 ex.2 to learn more or schedule an appointment. Due to demand, same day appointments may not be available. Passport Photographs
We are unable to provide passport photographs. Passport photos are regulated by law and need to fit legal requirements, 2″ X 2″. Passport photos can be taken at:

Passport Fees
Passport applications require two (2) personal checks or money orders: one payable to the US Department of State, one payable to Simsbury Public Library:
Adults: $130 to the US Department of State & $35 to the Simsbury Public Library
Minors 15 & under: $100 to the US Department of State & $35 to the Simsbury Public Library
